Our work included website development, network optimisation, and integrating multiple devices under a unified Active Directory, transforming their digital infrastructure.
Full-stack
We began by building a custom website for Maff Tuning, focusing on front-end appeal and back-end functionality. We designed a responsive, visually compelling interface for the front end that showcases Maff Tuning’s specialised car services, including engine tuning and remapping, suspension upgrades, exhaust system upgrades, air intake systems, brake system upgrades, turbocharging and supercharging, dyno testing, transmission tuning, aero kits and body kits, wheels and tyres, interior and exterior customisation. Using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, we ensured an engaging user experience with interactive elements highlighting their tuning projects and client testimonials.
On the back end, we deployed a PHP-based content management system (CMS) that allows Maff Tuning’s team to update services, post articles, and effortlessly manage customer appointments and test drives. Our CMS incorporates Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) for modularity and the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture for clean, organised data management. We also implemented Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) to streamline database interactions, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of client information, service data, and appointment bookings.
20-IP network
Maff Tuning relies on a network of 20 IP-connected devices, from diagnostic tools to workstations. We enrolled each device in a maintenance and optimisation programme to ensure peak performance, which is especially useful for Windows-based workstations. This programme involved regular updates, network monitoring, and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact operations. Our programme improves network stability and optimises bandwidth usage, enabling smooth data transfers across the facility.
Unified Active Directory
We centralised Maff Tuning’s network management by integrating all 20 IP-connected devices under a unified Active Directory (AD). This Active Directory solution standardises security protocols, simplifying user authentication and access control. Each employee has a secure login across all workstations and diagnostic systems, improving workflow efficiency and ensuring safe access to sensitive data.
Our network optimisation programme also included security enhancements to protect Maff Tuning’s sensitive client and service data. Through Active Directory, we implemented role-based access control, ensuring that only authorised personnel can access specific data and tools. We established regular backup schedules to enable swift data recovery if necessary.
Our work for Maff Tuning has created a robust, secure, and scalable digital environment for a firm operating primarily in the auto industry.
