We supported EUROSIC, a leader in low-voltage electrical engineering, by developing an integrated content management system (CMS) using Typo3. We aimed to enhance EUROSIC’s ability to manage complex data and streamline its operational processes.
Resources management
EUROSIC manages various cross-departmental resources, including sales, engineering, and manufacturing. With Typo3, we created a CMS that supports each of these units. This structure provides a single platform where EUROSIC’s sales team can efficiently manage marketing content and, using Typo3’s built-in functionality, leverage CRM (customer resource management) data to manage customer relationships.
Streamlining processes
The sales team needed a flexible, responsive platform to access and update data for both domestic and export markets. Integrating Typo3’s CMS (content management system) capabilities enabled quick updates to technical content, marketing materials, and customer information. With its expertise in technical design, the engineering team benefits from easy-to-access, organised content libraries to support client projects and demonstrate alignment to international standards on a project-by-project basis.
The CMS also supports the purchasing and logistics team, which oversees material procurement, shipping, and stock management. EUROSIC’s logistics personnel can manage stocks and shipping workflows using Typo3’s data management capabilities.
Enhancing manufacturing
Our Typo3 solution seamlessly integrates manufacturing and quality control data, giving the manufacturing team real-time updates on production workflows. The CMS integrates characteristics for industry-specific manufacturing machinery, enabling EUROSIC to coordinate resources and monitor time spent on tools.
We worked closely with EUROSIC’s IT management team to establish a centralised data infrastructure that links all departments and is positioned as a “single source of truth.” This cloud-based infrastructure supports real-time communication and data tracking across sales, engineering, logistics, manufacturing, and quality control, enhancing workflow efficiency.
