Over the last ten years, Microsoft technologies have evolved significantly, allowing us to create more powerful and efficient applications. In the case of Jeka Tourism Romania, we used ASP.NET, a web application framework developed by Microsoft that allows for creating dynamic and interactive websites. ASP.NET has been developed continuously, introducing features such as Razor Pages and improved support for Single Page Applications (SPAs). We also used Microsoft SQL Server, a relational database management system that has undergone many improvements over the years, including the introduction of in-memory OLTP and support for JSON.
Our customisation options were the most exciting elements of the Jeka Tourism Romania CRM project. We created a bespoke system that met all of Jeka’s specific needs, including managing customer data, bookings, and tours and generating reports and analytics. We integrated the system with their existing website, allowing a seamless user experience.

We used design patterns like the Repository Pattern and Dependency Injection to create a modular and maintainable codebase. We also implemented an authentication and authorisation system to protect sensitive data.
One of the challenges we faced during the project was integrating the CRM with Jeka’s existing systems. We tackled this challenge by developing custom APIs allowing seamless communication between the new and existing systems. We also conducted thorough testing and debugging to ensure the system was functioning as intended.
