Our goal was to create a visually immersive site that aligned with Coca-Cola’s branding and captured the intrigue and elegance of the Bond franchise.
User experience
We crafted an interactive and responsive microsite using HTML, CSS, and JQuery. The design reflects the sleek, sophisticated style of James Bond, offering fans an engaging digital experience. CSS animations and transitions brought the Bond atmosphere to life, adding dynamic elements that evoke a sense of mystery and excitement. We designed every scroll and hover effect to engage users, enhancing the thrill of exploring the site.
Our team used JQuery to incorporate interactive elements that deepen user engagement. Users could explore exclusive Skyfall features through expandable sections, from character profiles to behind-the-scenes content. We also included a quiz for fans to test their James Bond knowledge, complete with instant results. These interactive features encouraged users to stay on the site longer and explore each detail.
Smooth content updates
We built the site on a bespoke CMS, allowing Coca-Cola’s team to manage content efficiently. Typo3’s user-friendly interface enabled seamless updates, ensuring Coca-Cola could quickly add promotions or change content as needed. This flexibility supported the fast pace of movie promotions, helping Coca-Cola keep content relevant and engaging.
With many fans accessing the microsite from mobile devices, we prioritised mobile responsiveness. CSS media queries ensured a smooth experience across all screen sizes, allowing users to enjoy the microsite on the go. This approach expanded the reach of Coca-Cola’s campaign, providing a high-quality experience for every visitor.
SEO and Accessibility
We optimised the microsite for SEO, ensuring it ranked well in search results. Clear HTML5 structuring, meta tags, and alt text enhanced visibility and ensured accessibility for users with disabilities. This approach allowed Coca-Cola to reach a wider audience and demonstrate our commitment to inclusive design.
